A fun day out can be spent at an IKEA store. Drop the kids off to play with the babysitters, grab a bite to eat, and have fun exploring the store.
IKEA furnishings cost less because they do not come assembled; putting together an IKEA piece is simple.
- Assembly is so easy that the instructions for each step is a picture diagram showing one exactly how and where to place items together.
Before assembling make sure that you have all of the parts, components, screws, nuts, bolts, etc., as per the instruction sheet tells you.
- If anything is missing IKEA has extras on hand, just bring your receipt to the store and they will gladly give you what you are missing to complete the project.
IKEA furnishings are not junky like many believe. Instead you save money with IKEA furnishings because you carry them out and put the pieces together yourself. Of course there are levels of quality. You can get furnishings that are cheaper, being crafted using particle board and/ or plastic, but then there are other pieces that will cost a little more but are crafted out of solid wood.
Make your day out a family adventure. The little ones will have fun playing and the restaurant has great food. Don’t forget to pick up kiddies from play time before you leave. Purchase your lovely new furnishings. Before heading out of the store stop and buy some Swedish meatballs for dinner and grab a delicious $1 frozen yogurt cone.
When you get home make it a fun time putting together your brand new piece of furniture. Don’t worry, you can do it; never be afraid to dance!
