The Monkees “Farewell Tour,” with the song stylings of Micky Dolenz and Michael Nesmith, has proved the group’s talent transcends time and loss. Fans have come out of pandemic cocoons to welcome their favorite group as the now duo has traveled across the United States.
Saying a final farewell is bittersweet for fans and the remaining group members. The concert proves a cathartic experience in a way similar to a memorial. Fond memories of the bandmates lost fill one’s mind listening to remaining members sing in melodic glory.
