As daylight savings time ends this is a good time to take note of the coziness of the decor.
It is time to get ready for the winter months.
- Get out the throw blankets to wrap yourself in as you watch TV or sit by the fireplace.

- Consider hanging drapery that will keep the warmth in; such as thermal backed.
- Have nice winter scents going promote relaxation; apples and cinnamon works nicely.

- Be sure to make sure that the storm windows are installed correctly.
- Change the batteries in the smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
Most important, make the best of the season.
- Invite friends and family over.
- Have a family game night.
Take advantage of being stuck inside during the colder months.
- Clean out the basement and attic.
- Organize all of the old family photos.
- Sew the quilt that you have been putting off.
Enjoy the season, the holidays will soon be here; volunteer to help make someone elses life happier. There is always someone worse off who could use a new friend, especially in these hard economic times.
