Actress, dancer, and singer Kyla Nicole Healey sings old soul jazz, channeling such greats as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn, but with her fresh new spirit. Her anticipated new Mario Fanizzi produced EP of six unique songs will be released in August of 2025.
Produced and curated in Los Angeles, California, “Eras of Kyla” is all original music with an eclectic mix of jazz, soul, R&B, folk, and pop music. Healey’s new compilation is a fusion of genres, a mixture of dark and light with poetic lyricism that is truly authentic to herself and her passion for songwriting.
Sampling of the songs instantly makes one sway along to her unique sound. “Butterfly” conjures up Vaughn with the feel of Norah Jones, and with a subtle country undertone.
