The official summer is now over. School is beginning and Autumn is upon us.
Bringing color into our lives can instantly brighten our moods and promote well-being and happiness.
There are two very hot colors that are the “it” accent color’s for this fall.
Orange is now in. This color has not been this popular since the 70’s.
A great color to add to the kid’s room, playroom, and pillows for a fun sofa.
- Add a racing stripe around the child’s bedroom.
- Leave the walls white and paint the molding in orange.
- IKEA (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S19873653) has a wonderful desk in white with orange drawers, great for office, family room, and kid’s work stations.

Purple is the other in hot color.
- Paint one wall in purple as a back drop to your sofa.
- Soft purple is can be comforting in a bedroom.
- Add different shades of purple accents with pillows and lamp shades.

All you need is a little imagination. Enjoy your hunt for color and add some sunshine to your life as the days get shorter and colder. Never be afraid to dance!
